Glasshouse Mountains National Park

Glasshouse Mountains National Park

Listed on the Queensland and National Heritage Register as a landscape of national significance, the Glasshouse Mountains sure are an important part of the Sunshine Coast!

The rugged peaks and their surrounding greenery offer a range of fantastic lookouts and panoramic views, as well as hiking trails for all levels.

While the summit climbs for Mount Beerwah and Mount Tibrogargan are only recommended for experienced hikers, the trail leading up to what’s arguably the best view from Mount Ngungun is suitable for all ages of reasonable fitness levels. Take the family for a walk and bring a picnic to enjoy at the top! The views are especially spectacular during sunset, but don’t linger too long, or you might struggle on your way down…
