We would like to give you some positive feedback on the Tomaga River Holiday Park. We have been here for 8 years and like most families we were pleased to see the change in ownership!
Allswell is to be congratulated on the improvements that have been made in last few months e.g. the swimming pool, general appearance of the park and the professionalism of the staff. Melissa, Chris, Bruce and Elaine have done a tremendous job in getting the park in readiness for the current holiday period.
They are always approachable and attend to matters in a timely manner. It is also good to see their presence in the park as there is always something being done.
The general conversation in the park is that everyone is happy with the way the park is being managed. Everybody is very positive about the future of this very special place on the South Coast.
We moved into Tomakin in February last year, we have certainly noticed alot of changes in the Park.
These changes have been for the best. Since Allswell has taken over. We have a lovely pool , that has been promised for a long time. The Gardens and Facilities are looking top notch. The current managers and assistant managers have been so busy aound the park making it look lovely.
And we appreciate all they have done. They deserve a pat on the back. For picking up the pieces and making our little park the beautiful place it is.
Just wanted to let you know how great my husband and i think the management is at the caravan park. We have been coming to this park for 11 years and never have we felt such great atmosphere in the park. Everyone we talk to is saying the park has come alive. Nothing is to much trouble for them and they are very approachable. The look of the park is also excellent. We are looking forward to the next lot of improvements that are to come . It is great coming into the park knowing that they have such great pride in every thing they do.
Thank you for giving us such fantastic managers
Last weekend my partner and I stayed at the Landsborough Pines Caravan Park’s Possum Villa, while attending a function nearby. We were very impressed with the accommodation. It was spotlessly clean, with two bunks in the lounge and a double bed in a separate bedroom at the rear (past the bathroom), the villa sleeps four comfortably. The bathroom has a heater lamp and dryer, the loungeroom has a modern flatscreen TV and a dining table. There is also a fridge, microwave and coffee/tea making facilities. The villa has verandahs front and back, with the view from the front overlooking a large pond in the centre of the complex, complete with fountains and waterbirds. All this for $130 a night, what a gem !! This caravan park is located just off the Steve Irwin Way, but it is quiet and well run. Do yourself a favour, try this place instead of a motel if you are travelling this way, you will be pleased you did!
Stayed in the cocus cabin and it was really lovely for our weekend away. The location of this place was great as the beach was just a quick drive down the road – you’ll find some shops near by as well.
Friendly Park with clean cabins in nice surroundings. This park is a combined holiday / live in park, it is busy all year round. They have a pool with shade which is excellent the staff are the friendliest I have met in a long time.
We had a tent site at the back of the park for one night. They do not have many tent sites, mostly cabins, so it was great for us. Very quiet and spotless amenities. Check-in was friendly, and we were recommended to have dinner at the Bowling Club, which was nice. Lovely inlet a short walk away, we could have spent a lot of time there. There is also a surf beach, but rather windy that day.
We have used Tall Timbers several times in recent years for a reunion with old and dear friends. And it works well for us and our 16 or so participants. The cabins and van sites are convenient and well maintained. We especially appreciate the clean and well set up community room for our dinners and catch up time. A good no fuss park in a great location on the South Coast.
As we could not get a caravan site on the coast we were lucky to strike this place and pick up the last one available.
How surprised we were to arrive at this little oasis. A pleasant lake surrounded with bird life and a nice roomy concrete slab site in a lovely bush setting. Sometimes we strike it lucky and this was one of those times.
